February

Meet our new chicks. You may ask, what in the world are they doing getting chicks? Ask Jeremy. This is his thing. This summer we should be getting fresh eggs. A strange new adventure. We keep catching Tyler holding the chicks, and then when he sees us he throws them back into their box. So, if we're lucky, we will have some chicks that live, despite our children, into adulthood

This was Tyler's batman cake for his third birthday, yeah for Tyler!

And for all of you that need baby updates. Here is Charlotte. She is almost 9 months and is acting like she is 14 months. I am already having to close the bathroom doors and toilet lids. She is busy, boy is it fun!

Mary K, you are so ambitious! The girls and I will have to walk over when it warms up a little to check out the farm!

We raised chickens for eggs when I was a kid, for quite a few years. Had problems with wild animals getting them at night even when in the coop. But we were out in the country so you may not have that problem.

Where do you keep the chicks? That will be a great project (for Jeremy). Charlotte is so cute, and fast!
