Wahoo!!!! We sold our house! I can't believe it. 3 weeks on the market and it's done! This is very remarkable in this market right now. So, the only answer is that of divine intervention. An answer to lots of prayers and a little hard work. Thank goodness I don't have to keep the house sparkling anymore, now on to packing. We are out of here in 2 weeks. I can't believe that our life here in Charlottesville is coming to an end. I'm very sad at having to move from this beautiful city and all out wonderful family and friends here. But, we are excited for our new adventures in Utah and to be with family there!

Things That Make You Smile!
A couple of morning ago we were sitting at breakfast and just randomly Grace says, "Mama, this is a lovely house." Who knows where she got the word lovely, but it made me smile.
We were at Sears just walking through the kids clothes and Grace, who is very excited that we're having a baby girl, started picking out baby girl clothes for her little sister and told me we needed to by these things for the new baby sister. I can't believe she is so concerned about this new baby. I don't think we're going to have reenactments of Grace beating up Tyler with this new bundle.
Tyler just always makes us smile! He loves balls, and cars and anything boy. He runs after Grace all day long wanting to do exactly what she is doing. Right now Tyler loves to pretend to snore when he is pretend sleeping.
Grace got a ballerina outfit with shoes from Nana this week. Ever since, if we are in the house she is in this outfit spinning and dancing. I had to talk her into wearing her ballerina pajamas instead of the real leotard, only after much discussion! I think I do love having a little princess!
We are crossing our fingers for an offer on our home now that it is finally listed online. We had someone come yesterday and then they returned today to look at the home again! I would love not to have to keep the house sparkling clean for the next month!

UTAH SNOW here we come!
It's official, we are moving to Utah. It has been quite the rollercoaster trying to find a job over the last 8 months. We actually found a job in Utah, which I didn't think would ever happen. We move the end of February, just in time to get settled for the baby in May. IT'S A GIRL! We also found out this week that we're having a girl, another Grace running around is just irresistible to us. So, for the next 6 weeks I have to keep the house super clean, pack, and do everything that is involved in moving. Good luck to me! Good luck to our house as it tries to be sold! Above are fun pics from Christmas and the month of December!

Thanksgiving and Special News!!!
Happy Thanksgiving!
I know it's a little late, but we had a wonderful time at my brother Spencer's in North Carolina with my other brother Joel and his family. All the cousins had so much fun playing together. We need to do get togethers like this more often, too bad the cousins are 7 hrs away.
It was kind of a crazy few days, squirrels in the attic (or so we think), the killing of some squirrels (talk to Spencer or Jeremy), Grace knocking her tooth on a step (hope it doesn't die), and of course the usual sickies (sorry Lindsay and fam).
Do I look pregnant, well, cause I am! Yeah, we're soo excited! We are due May 20th or so and I have my ultrasound in a few weeks to find out the sex, so we'll let you know! Grace thinks this is pretty exciting and wants to have a sister.

Summer Fun!
The beach trip to Charleston has to be one of the highlights of the summer so far! The entire Henriod family under one roof, crazy! We loved every minute of it.
This is what happens when you try to take down a huge tree in your backyard without professionsal help!
Happy Birthday to Grace in April! This is the cake I made for her princess party!
Aunt Abby and Grace in Charleston at our beach trip!
Magnolias!
Grace has so many boyfriends! Sterling is one of her best friends!
Camping at crab tree falls and hiking the next day!
Strawberry picking! This is to be one of our new favorite things in Charlottesville, picking fresh fruit!
There has been too much that has gone on since last we posted! Life goes by so fast that I just have to let some things go, and this blog has been the thing to go! Here's to summer!

Mary Louise Bailey Harman
Mary, Jeremy's Mom, passed away after an eight year battle with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma on April 17th, 2008. Her funeral was on Sunday. Jeremy dedicated the Grave. We miss her very much, but are comforted to know that she no longer feels the pain that has been constant for the last couple of years. We draw comfort to know that she is freed from illness and participates in a great work across the veil teaching her family the gospel. Her smile and encouraging words will be greatly missed. We have an important responsibility to teach Grace and Tyler about how wonderful their grandma Harman is and to teach them the things that we have learned from her. She had the ability to love others despite their circumstance without judgment. She could find the little ways to serve others that made a lasting tremendous impact. Since Mary's illness, we have pondered the important role of a parent in passing down the important truths of the gospel, and life in general, that we have learned from our parents. We hope that we can teach Grace and Tyler the gospel truths that Mary centered her life around.

About a year ago, mom was out shopping and found a framed quotation that she truly loved because it mirrored her exact views on her illness. The quotation is...
Cancer is so limited ... It cannot cripple love,
It cannot shatter hope,
It cannot corrode faith,
It cannot eat away at peace,
It cannot destroy confidence,
It cannot kill friendship,
It cannot shut out memories,
It cannot invade the soul,
It cannot reduce eternal life,
It cannot quench the spirit,
It cannot lessen the power of the resurrection.

We find comfort knowing that Mom is in the presence of our Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. We know that through the power of the Atonement we will be able to be with her again as an eternal family unit. We feel so blessed for the restored gospel and for the temple blessings that we enjoy.
Thanks to everyone for your prayers, calls, cards, and flowers. We feel so blessed to have such a great family and network of fantastic friends!
